  • Requirements
    Coffee: 55-60g
    Water: 850ml
    Temp: 94℃
    Brew time: 5 minutes
    Grind: Coarse

    Method
    1. Half fill your cafetière with boiling water
    2. Discard water then add coffee
    3. Pour water just off the boil (94℃) to half fill cafetière
    4. After 1 minute the coffee will bloom and form a crust, stir 3 times
    5. Add remaining water to fill cafetière
    6. Place plunger on the top of cafetière to stop the heat escaping and start timer
    7. After 4 minutes, plunge then pour immediately.
